Maharashtra conducts multiple rounds of counselling (typically 3-4 rounds). Each round includes fresh registration, choice filling, and seat allotment for vacant seats.
Candidates can opt for upgradation in subsequent rounds. If you get a better college in the next round, your previous seat will be automatically cancelled. Choose "Betterment" option during choice filling.
Once allotted a seat, candidates must report to college within specified time, pay fees, and complete admission. Failure to report will result in forfeiture of seat and security deposit.
Final mop-up round is conducted for remaining vacant seats. This is open to candidates who didn't get seats in previous rounds or who want to upgrade.
